The love of my life for about three decades.

I have been designing and building furniture and specialty woodwork since 1974. The sample pieces displayed on this page were made, almost entirely, from hardwoods found locally, in the Black Hills of South Dakota. They represent a small sampling of the variety of work I have done over the years. In many cases these are one-of-a-kind pieces. Copies of the designs can be, and have been made from other slabs of wood, so the pieces of furniture have the same basic look but differ according to the particular wood used.
